Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active Indiana licensure.
• Strong interest or experience in providing full-scope optometric care.
• Excellent communication skills with children and families.

The Role: Full-Scope Optometric Care

This position focuses on practicing to the full extent of your license. You will work alongside Dr. Steven Levin, FOVDR and an expert support staff to provide high-level care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Evaluations: Pediatric, family, and geriatric eye care.
• Ocular Disease Management: Glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, external eye diseases, and retinal conditions.
• Specialty Fittings: Scleral and specialty contact lenses.
• Advanced Diagnostics: Binocular vision disorders, amblyopia, strabismus, convergence insufficiency, and visual processing challenges.
• Rehabilitative Care: Vision therapy diagnosis for learning-related problems, brain injuries, and post-concussion care.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with parents, teachers, and therapists to create customized developmental care plans.

Exposure and Clinical Variety

Our Associate Optometrist will have the opportunity to practice at the highest level of clinical care, including full-service optical with advanced lens and frame technologies and vision rehabilitation for patients recovering from strokes or traumatic brain injuries.

• Salary: Annual range of $110k–$150k (Daily per diem).
